Cody Scott is a versatile musician, producer, recording, and mixing engineer with a passion for all things music. Proficient on bass, guitar, keyboard, and drums, Cody also works live sound at Norco College, where he’s continued to hone his craft both on stage and behind the scenes.
His journey in music began in elementary school, but everything shifted in 2018 when he started creating music seriously. A pivotal moment in his musical awakening came when he first encountered Daft Punk through the DJ Hero game at Best Buy—a moment that left a lasting impression. Since then, Daft Punk’s blend of aesthetic and sound has remained a major inspiration, along with the genre-defying output of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.
At NC, Cody has thrived in an environment that pushes him to grow as both a musician and a communicator. One of his proudest achievements was helping run NOMU Fest, where months of hard work culminated in a rewarding and unforgettable live show experience.
With a relentless drive and a deep love for the craft, Cody’s ultimate goal is to become a “Swiss Army knife” in the music industry—capable of excelling in production, live performance, sound design, commercial scoring, and more. Beyond music, his interests include basketball, video games, LEGO, trading cards, and following LeBron James.
Cody lives by a personal philosophy: “No matter what you do in life, become obsessed with it. Always find new things to learn. Become addicted to growth, and keep expanding your knowledge in what makes you feel accomplished.”
