Tell us about yourself as an artist/musician. What do you do?

My name is Moonguia. As an artist, I write and express my music from the melodies to the lyrics, lyrics being my strong calling. I’m also a singer at heart, and I’m currently in the process of learning more about my voice and breaking its homey barriers.

How long have you been making music, and what sparked your interest in music?

I've been writing music since I could recall. From a very young age, I was very excited about the world and I soon fell in love with the daily emotions that music would add to my life. I started experiencing my writing super young that I can't point a finger as to where it started. I wasn't very good at first, but I started falling in love and perfecting my craft as I started losing myself in music by the age of 10. By then I was focusing mainly on rapping and my lyricism. The amount of peace and shelter it indered in my chaotic life helped me fall in love with everything that comes with creating music.

Tell us about your time at NOMU so far. Do you have a favorite memory or experience during your time here?

NOMU was definitely one of the best choices I've grown to make. I've always wanted to enroll in a music class and so I threw my hand in the pot and landed in a room full of amazing weird talented people. Just like me. I’ve met so many amazing people and created unforgettable memories. My favorite memory would probably be walking in late and meeting the best teacher Brady, who from the moment I sent an email made me feel welcome. The rest is history.

What are your plans or goals in your life now concerning school, music, or just personally, any other pursuits?

If I talked about everything I wish to accomplish in my short life we would be here for days. As a person in general I’ve always been very private, with my thoughts, and my ambitions so when I get questions like this my brain is guarded. But I will definitely say that one goal in my life is to bring happiness, love, and peace to those around me, and hope to both inspire and heal people through my music.

Are there any hobbies outside of music that you're interested in?

I do have a couple of hobbies, yes. Haha, for those who know me know I fancy photography, cars, drawing, poetry, dancing, and traveling.

I decided to do something interesting for the website where the last artist I interviewed can ask you a question. The last person I interviewed was Irvin Gala and the question was, "What is your favorite cartoon?"

Haha, My favorite cartoon growing up would probably have to be Spongebob. I was absolutely in love with the first movie as a kid.

Keep in mind; you also get to ask the next artist a question, so what would you like to ask the next artist that I interview?

What is your favorite band? (SEE PHILOPHOBYAK’S INTERVIEW TO SEE THE ANSWER TO MOONGUIA’S QUESTION)
